The Head invites applications from highly motivated and experienced individuals to fulfill this important role at an exciting point in the life of Clayesmore.  Reporting to the Head, the Assistant Head (Sixth Form) is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

In order to be considered, applicants must possess strong academic credentials and proven leadership skills. Additionally, they must demonstrate the vision and initiative to ensure that the sixth form at Clayesmore remains innovative, relevant and attractive for our pupils, as well as those joining from elsewhere, at this crucial stage in their educational journey.

Clear, effective communication skills are essential for this role as well as the ability to build trusting and supportive relationships with staff, pupils and parents.

Teacher of Mathematics

To commence September 2023

We are looking for a creative and imaginative Teacher of Mathematics to students in Year 7 to Year 8. The ability to teach older or younger students or offer a second subject would be welcome.

Applications are welcome from new or experienced teachers. We offer considerable support with professional development, including help with a PGCE.

The ability and enthusiasm to contribute to the extra-curricular life of this busy boarding and day school is important too. The school is set in delightful grounds and Dorset offers an excellent environment in which to live and work.

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enterprising and inspiring person to join our Business and Enterprise department at Clayesmore School.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of what a modern and relevant business curriculum should offer and have the ability and understanding to motivate and inspire pupils and colleagues. Experience of teaching A Level Business is essential and A Level BTEC Enterprise would be an advantage.

 In addition they will be keen to contribute to the life of a busy boarding school.

Coffee Shop Assistant

Full time, all year round

We are looking to invite applications from hardworking, customer focused and friendly people for an Assistant role for our Clayesmore coffee shop.

Your day will be hands on and customer facing, working in a small team creating an environment that is warm and welcoming for all who visit the coffee shop.  You will have an eye for detail and be interested in serving good coffee, good food and making people happy.

This is a great opportunity to work in hospitality with daytime shifts only.

Benefits include a non-contributory pension scheme, Death in Service benefits, a free meal and free membership of the Clayesmore Sports Facilities.
