An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enterprising and inspiring person to join our Business and Enterprise department at Clayesmore School.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of what a modern and relevant business curriculum should offer and have the ability and understanding to motivate and inspire pupils and colleagues. Experience of teaching A Level Business is essential and A Level BTEC Enterprise would be an advantage.

 In addition they will be keen to contribute to the life of a busy boarding school.

This is a permanent, full time position; a competitive salary and attractive benefits are provided for the successful candidate.

Teacher of Business Job Description

 

Assistant Director of Music

To commence as soon as possible

Are you an enthusiastic and engaging individual with a clear love of music; an accomplished keyboard player, willing and able to assist in the running of our thriving and inspirational music department?

We are looking for someone who can teach GCSE and A Level Music, and to be enthusiastic about helping to deliver our BTEC Level 3 in Music Technology. 

You will teach a reduced timetable and be involved in group rehearsals and concerts which will involve some evening work. You will also be able to contribute to the wider life of Clayesmore through sport, CCF or the LEX programme.  

We would welcome applications from recent graduates or those who have just completed a PGCE, and accommodation may be available for the successful candidate.

Assistant Director of Music Job Description

 

Support Staff Vacancies

Health and Wellbeing Centre Nurse

Part time, term time only

To commence as soon as possible

Required to provide medical care to boarding and day pupils and, when required, first aid care to all members of the school community.

Working as part of our friendly team in the Health and Wellbeing Centre, you will be RGN or RSCN qualified, NMC registered with relevant, recent clinical experience and a comprehensive understanding of the safeguarding of children and young people.  The successful candidate will be responsible, friendly and well organised, with a desire to promote both the physical and psychological wellbeing of our pupils.

You will be part of a shift rota and will work one 12 hour shift (8:00am- 8:00pm) on a Friday and one 4 hour shift (2:00pm – 6:00pm) for 24 Saturdays per annum.

We are looking for a Level 2 qualified Swimming Teacher to join our successful Learn to Swim programme. The hours would be from 3.45pm until 6pm across various weekdays.

Permanent and Relief Minibus Drivers

To commence as soon as possible

We have some exciting opportunities for friendly and helpful drivers to join our excellent team.

Driving one of our wonderful brand new minibuses, you will be providing the safe and caring transport of our pupils to and from school at the start or end of the school day, as well as to fixtures and various events across the school year.

The successful candidates will have a clean driving licence with D1 category and will be required to undertake a full driving assessment.

You will be required to work 20 hours per week for 38 weeks per year, weekday mornings with an 08:30am start and some Saturday mornings on a rota. Some cleaning experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
