The academic year is made up of three terms, commencing in September and running through to early July. Boarders and day pupils return on different days to allow a period of time for boarders to settle back into their House routines. All Sixth Form students also return earlier at the beginning of the year to participate in focused leadership and bonding activities.
Clayesmore is a seven day per week boarding school and as such the boarding houses and some areas of the school are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
For parent and other enquiries, the school is open from 8.00am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday and from 8.30am until 12.30pm on Saturdays.
