You will help lead and manage a very successful department of 16 experienced staff. To be successful, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, broad knowledge and experience of special educational needs, suitable qualifications for teaching and assessing pupils, and knowledge of access arrangements for examinations. You may already have been a SENCO or might be establishing a career in this field and have other teaching or management experience in schools.

We require an inspirational and experienced higher level learning support assistant to join our team of specialist teachers in the Teaching & Learning Centre.

As an empathetic and self-motivated individual, the successful candidate will work closely alongside the teachers within the school, parents, other relevant professionals and external agencies.

The role will include a range of intervention groups as part of our integrated learning provision, with a particular focus on numeracy, literacy and emotional support.

Higher Level Learning Support Assistant Job Description

 

Graduate Assistant (Senior School)

To commence as soon as possible

An enthusiastic and committed Graduate Assistant is required for our Senior School on a fixed term contract.  This exciting opportunity includes a full and active role in the pupils’ games programme, administrative support for our Senior Academic staff, and pastoral care of our boarders.

 The successful candidate will also provide occasional classroom cover and, where appropriate, may be offered some teaching opportunities. This position would suit a recent graduate looking for experience prior to teacher training or seeking a short-term post prior to embarking on another career path. Playing a full and active role in the pupils’ games programme and supporting the Head of Boys’ and Girls’ Games with the provision of training and matches and school events will also be required of the successful candidate.

 This is a live-in position that will involve some evening and weekend work within the boarding house.

Graduate Assistant (Senior School) Job Description

 

Theatre Technician

Part time, term time only

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Theatre Technician to join our vibrant theatre and creative media departments.

You will have proven experience in production and stage management and setting up live events as well as lighting and design. A drama/theatre degree or similar vocational qualification is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent hands-on design skills and an ability to work quickly, calmly and politely while under pressure.

The annual salary for the role is £11,774, this is based on working for 33 weeks during term time plus an additional two weeks worked in the school holiday and 20 hours per week although some flexibility will be required.

External Relations Assistant

37.5 hours per week, all year round

We wish to appoint a flexible and well organised candidate to support the External Relations Team with administrative and operational duties across marketing, admissions, communications, events and alumni relations.  

The successful candidate will have good organisation and planning skills, be able to work accurately and to deadlines, and be willing to go the extra mile.

Training will be provided for those tasks that the successful candidate is not fully experienced in undertaking.
