Sports Day 2017
27/05/2017

Friday night’s storm resulted in an overcast Saturday morning for the annual Inter-House Athletics competition. As ever, the event was run in great spirit, with lots of support from spectators and fellow athletes. There were some notable moments including three siblings from the same family winning events (the first time we believe this has happened in Clayesmore’s history), and Year 10 Wolverton pupil, Amy, setting a hat-trick of new school records in the 3000m, 1500m and Long Jump events in the junior girls category.
The overall results for the day were as follows:
Category | First | Second | Third |
---|---|---|---|
Junior Girls | Wolverton – 128 points | King’s – 102 points | N/A |
Senior Girls | Wolverton – 135 points | King’s – 117 points | N/A |
Overall Girls | Wolverton – 263 points | King’s – 219 points | N/A |
Junior Boys | Manor – 123 points | Gate – 108 points | Devine – 95 points |
Senior Boys | Devine – 122 points | Gate – 121 points | Manor – 81 points |
