Clayesmore prefect campaigns for school to ‘Switch Off and Save’
Clayesmore’s drive to be as green as possible received another boost this term, thanks to a campaign led by school prefect, Bia. To encourage pupils and staff to switch off lights whenever possible, and reduce energy consumption, stickers are being placed on switches all around the site. This scheme is the latest to be implemented at Clayesmore, following the launching of the CHEERS (Clayesmore Helping the Environment by Effective Recycling and Sorting) project last summer, a Prep School campaign to reduce the use of Single Use Plastics, and assemblies aimed at encouraging the reduction of food waste.
